The tour begins from Kathmandu’s domestic terminal. After an early morning hotel pickup, you board the helicopter for the scenic flight toward the Everest region.
Lukla is the main entry point to the Khumbu region and the first landing point of the tour. The stop is used for refueling and short acclimatization before continuing toward higher elevations. The surrounding mountain scenery and iconic Lukla airstrip make this stop memorable.
Pheriche serves as a safety and weight-management stop at higher altitude. From here, shuttle flights operate with reduced passenger numbers to Kala Patthar and Everest Base Camp airspace, ensuring safe high-altitude operations.
Kala Patthar is the highest landing point of the tour and offers the most iconic close-up view of Mount Everest, along with Lhotse and Nuptse. Landings are limited to 5–10 minutes due to altitude and weather conditions, allowing enough time for photography and panoramic views.
(Landing available on private charter flights only)
Syangboche is home to the famous Hotel Everest View, one of the highest luxury hotels in the world. The helicopter lands here for breakfast, offering uninterrupted views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and the surrounding Himalayan peaks.
